Maurice Hall passed away on June 18, 2006 at age nine of a heart condition. He truly embraced what it meant to be a club kid, through his character, attitude, and commitment. He demonstrated these attributes at the club, but also in the world. He was respectful, and involved in countless activities both inside and outside of the club.

He was constantly positive and enjoyed everyday to its fullest. In honor of his memory, the George J. D'Angelo Clubhouse created the Mighty Mouse Award.

To encourage junior members to live by Maurice's example, the award will be given to a member that possesses and demonstrates the qualities Maurice exhibited.
